What You’ll Learn

Turn imagination into performance with a fast-paced journey through acting, character creation, physical theatre, scriptwriting, and stage design. Perfect for beginners and seasoned performers alike, this course builds expressive confidence, collaborative skills, and stage presence—step by step. It’s also a supportive space for EAL learners to develop communication through movement, gesture, and clear storytelling.

11 April to 17 June 2026

12pm to 1pm and 1pm to 2pm

Program Structure

Daily rehearsals dive into acting, voice, and movement; big personalities, zero wallflowers. Our teaching artists mix sharp technique with a streak of mischief, so each one-hour session stays focused but never fussy. Over 12 sessions, scenes, songs, and choreography snap into place—then on final day we crank it up for a performance where our young artists take the stage and own it.

What’s Included

Tuition covers rehearsal and performance at the Black Lotus Studio at the Hive, yes, a real professional venue no one else can offer, plus free performance tickets for parents and siblings, costumes students keep after the show, daily one-hour rehearsals in acting/voice/movement led by pro teaching artists, small-group coaching and ensemble-building, and a final-day performance with lights, sound, and the whole shebang.

Perform in a professional theatre!

What will you learn?

Each one-hour session blends flexible warm-ups, ensemble games, and rotating blocks of acting, voice, and movement. Scripts and choreography are offered in multiple formats; roles (on or back stage) and pacing are student‑choice. Costumes and props are opt-in with sensory-friendly options. We end with a brief run and clear next steps so everyone leaves confident and ready for the public performance.
